These 100 g plastic welding rods are intended for professional and hobby repairs of plastic parts made from PC+PBT, PC/PBT, PBT+PC, PBT/PC and PC/PBT+T20 materials. These blends of polycarbonate (PC) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), often also known under the trade name Xenoy, combine high toughness, strength, heat resistance and dimensional stability. Thanks to these properties, they are widely used in the automotive industry for the production of mechanically stressed plastic parts.

The welding rods are suitable for repairing cracks, broken brackets, damaged covers and other plastic components. After proper heating, they create a strong and homogeneous weld with high mechanical resistance and long service life. The material melts easily, is easy to process and allows for a high-quality joint even during demanding repairs.

The material may also be found under other designations, for example PC/PBT+T40, PC+PBT+M10 or PC/PBT+GF. It is used mainly for the production of bumpers on some Ford and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, rear-view mirrors, side trims, engine covers, fenders, locking mechanisms and other structural plastic parts exposed to impacts and vibration.

Before welding, we always recommend checking the plastic marking on the part being repaired. Using a welding rod made of the same or a compatible material is essential for achieving a strong, flexible and long-term reliable joint.
