Plastic welding rods weighing 100 g are designed for professional and hobby repairs of plastic parts made from PPA, PPA+PA, PPA-GF35, PPA GF, PPA GF16 and PPA GF45 materials. Polyphthalamide (PPA) is among the high-performance engineering polyamides and stands out for its exceptional heat resistance, high strength, dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and excellent chemical resistance. Thanks to these properties, it is used especially in the automotive, electrical and mechanical engineering industries.

PPA GF16, PPA-GF35 and PPA GF45 variants are reinforced with glass fibers that significantly increase the strength, rigidity and durability of the material at high operating temperatures. PPA+PA blends combine the properties of polyphthalamide and polyamide to achieve optimal mechanical resistance and processability. These materials are used mainly for structural parts exposed to high mechanical and thermal stress. 

The welding rods are suitable for repairing cracks, broken brackets, damaged covers and other technical plastic components. After proper heating, they create a strong and homogeneous weld with high mechanical and thermal resistance. Due to the high hardness of the material, it is recommended to use a powerful plastic welder or a hot-air station with precise temperature control. 

PPA materials are used, for example, in the production of headlight brackets, engine compartment components, electrical connectors, pump covers, valve bodies, structural brackets, gearbox components and other parts where standard polyamides or polypropylene no longer meet the required mechanical and thermal properties.
