Soldering tip 900M-T-1.2D copper

The 900M-T-1.2D copper soldering tip is a replacement tip in the 900M series with a flat D profile and a width of 1.2 mm. It is made of pure copper, which stands out for its very high thermal conductivity and enables fast heating as well as efficient heat transfer to the solder joint. The flat profile provides a larger contact area than conical tips, making it easier to create high-quality and strong solder joints.

The tip is ideal for soldering wires, connectors, PCB traces, SMD and THT components, and other common service work. Thanks to its high thermal conductivity, it is especially suitable wherever a larger amount of heat needs to be delivered quickly. Copper tips are easy to tin and ensure very good solder transfer, but it is recommended to maintain them regularly and protect them by tinning, as pure copper wears faster than multilayer tips.
