Soldering tip 900M-T-5C copper

The 900M-T-5C copper soldering tip is a high-quality replacement tip of the 900M series with a beveled C profile (Bevel) and a working surface width of 5.0 mm. It is made of pure copper, which provides exceptionally high thermal conductivity and enables very fast heat transfer from the heating element directly to the solder joint. Thanks to the wide beveled working surface, it is ideal for soldering power wires, power connectors, large solder pads, shielding, power components and other joints with high thermal capacity. The wide profile is also suitable for drag soldering or for evenly applying a larger amount of solder to larger joints. 

Pure copper ensures easy tinning, quick reaching of operating temperature and excellent thermal stability during work. However, unlike multi-layer plated tips, it requires regular maintenance because pure copper gradually wears during use. To preserve maximum service life, we recommend keeping the working part always tinned and cleaning it regularly.
